Language & Spanish Immersion

Children are greeted individually in Spanish by name, with warmth. The morning begins with a gentle transition that makes the classroom feel like a second home.

Pouring, sorting, folding, caring for plants. Simple, purposeful activities that build concentration, coordination, and genuine pride in doing things independently.

Music, Movement & Circle Time

Songs, rhymes, and movement — all in Spanish. Children absorb vocabulary, rhythm, and joy all at once, often without realizing they're learning a language at all.

Children help prepare, serve, and clean up their snack — building practical skills, independence, and the kind of healthy relationship with food that starts earliest.

Questions parents ask most

Honest answers to what families really want to know before enrolling.

Do we need to speak Spanish at home?

Not at all. Most of our families are non - Spanish speakers. Our full immersion environment allows children to acquire Spanish naturally through daily interactions, routines, and Montessori materials, regardless of the language spoken at home.

My child has never been away from me. Is this normal?

Very. We see it every year. Our guides are trained in gentle transitions, and we work closely with each family to make the adjustment gradual, warm, and as stress-free as possible for both child and parent.

Will my child actually learn Spanish or just hear it?

Both — which is exactly how language acquisition works at this age. Guides speak exclusively in Spanish throughout the day. Within weeks, most children begin responding in Spanish naturally.

What is the adult-to-child ratio in Nido?

We maintain a 1:4 adult-to-child ratio throughout the day. This ensures every child receives individual attention, warmth, and the consistency that young toddlers need to feel truly safe.

What is the difference between half day and full day?

Half day runs through the morning program (including snack). Full day extends through lunch, rest time, and an afternoon session. Both include the complete Montessori and Spanish immersion experience.

At what age can a child start Nido?
